The department of Karnatic Music offers teaching in under-graduate B.P.A. programme and Post Graduate (M.A.) level courses in Karnatic Vocal and Violin. Research opportunities are made available through Ph.D and D.Lit programmes. Apart from this the department also runs various diploma courses especially to motivate the budding artists and school kids towards music. Diploma courses of eight years in Classical Vocal and Violin from Prathama to Kovid.
